The African Solution

The author is not an expert on Africa, which is fine because “The African Solution” was not written to exhibit a special familiarity with Africa and its problems, but to demonstrate Africa is no different than any other place regarding the problems of man, and the place Scripture has in their solution.

Africa is not unique, other than in the eyes of man. In the eyes of God and the expression of logic, Africa is like every other human community. The information contained in this essay is good for Poland as well as Africa and works as well in these places as in any place on earth.

There is only one problem, the Bible calls it sin. Yet, individual sin ought not to be a problem other for the individual who gives in to it. The person who dreams of getting rich is not rare nor confined to a single demographic.

There are many who give into this imagery and become consumed by it. Still this ought not to be a problem for any organized community. Even if some steal and go into prostitution in the search for wealth, this would still only be an irritant. But sin has a habit of not remaining within the mind of man, it percolates out into the wider reaches of society and digs every deeper into the hearts of man, even to the making of slaves and empires.

No evil belongs to Africa and no where else. No evil is found elsewhere that is not found in Africa. Sin harms the individual, evil harms the world. Sin harms the purity of the individual, sin harms the body politic and the sanity of man.

We are all in sin and yet we all grow up and become functional members of society, many of us are notable achievers and contributors to our culture. But evil stunts and distorts the human condition.

We all grow up physically, evil hinders our growth, spiritually.

The difference between the adult and the child is the inability of the child to live independently. At some point of our development the individual ought to decide to take responsibility for themselves and to strive to live an independent life, the equal of all other persons. But this does not always happen and seems to happen less frequently now than at other times and more often in some places than others. In other words this appears to be a disease that is spreading. We refer to it as apriosis. It is a disease of the spirit, or what many call evil. The problem with the way evil has been conceived, is that most people assume evil is an act that opposes the Will of God, which it is. But opposing the Will of God is actually unimportant so far as the grand scheme of things, because if this defined the extent of evil it would not be important to man. It certainly does not hinder or impact God or His plans in any way.

Evil opposes the Will of God, but the Will of God is that we all would be perfect, which is another way of saying, His Will is that we all be in obedience to him. This, at least for Christians, is not restricted to following the Ten Commandments. We are to build his church which requires us to bind together in faith, and to do works of faith.

We can debate what this means, but surely it does not mean we remain dependents and spiritual infants.

At the very least at some point, we need to be the equal of other men and women and take responsibility for our own condition. This is the attainment of spiritual maturity, and iti s not a condition universally attained. Many of us do not wish to be responsible for our own costs and welfare, and we remain dependents of others, usually our parents but more often, the state.

This is where evil comes in, because sin institutionalized becomes evil.

Individual greed is one thing, when it becomes organized crime and part of a social agenda, then sin has risen to the level of evil.

They say it takes a community to raise a child; it also takes a community to create and sustain evil.

To understand this better, imagine a community of honest persons. Everyone is equal because everyone works and pays their own way. To some extent this happens in a tribes and hunter/gather societies where everyone is to some degree dependent on everyone else. One is required to participate and pull their own weight, or they will soon be ostracized.

But in these situations, the level of specialization is low, and everyone is basically independent and self-sufficient. In a highly industrialized society this kind of internal monitoring is not possible. And so, evil is permitted to flourish.

The problem for Africa is that evil takes root at a very low level of industrialization. The area never managed to industrialize before large scale systematic exploitation took place. Many nations in Africa were created out of evil activities and were formed basically as an evil enterprise.

If we understand good as being the spiritually mature individual who is honest and equal with others of his kind, then evil is anything less than this. Dependency is expected in a child, when practiced as an adult, it becomes a far different thing. How can we be equal to someone who lives off of the work we do and contributes nothing in return?

Humanity has looked long and hard for a line between good and evil, yet the line of division is not hard to find. If we are to bind together in faith, then evil would be anything that causes the binding to loosen. Obviously, that is anything which does not add to the community but subtracts from it. Such acts are parasitic. The simple conclusion is that Africa is a sector especially plagued by parasites.

We could go into a long and ultimately useless discussion about why this might be so, but in the final analysis there are rich and poor parasites, and they come in all colors and political stripes. But what can and ought to be noted is that parasites congregate around particular environments. The state is a parasite and those who are most dependent on the state, are parasitic.

If the state is zero the degree to which a person or organization is parasitic can be graphed by determining their level of dependency on the state. The more dependent they are on the state, legally and financially, the lower their score and the greater their level of parasitism.

To disengage from parasitism, one must be independent of the state, because in this legalist system one is always to some degree, dependent on the lawgiver. The law ensures that is the case. One cannot opt out of the law.

The true parasite is therefore a socialist but not necessarily a nationalist. The socialist supports the legalistic power of the state, without necessarily supporting the nation-state itself.

Thus, there is the possibility of a socialist being globalist or communist.

Individualism is often considered a sign of egoism or even narcissism, a sense that one is independent or superior to others. Individualism ought to be considered the belief that one is the equal of others and equally as responsible for oneself as others are responsible for themselves.

Individualism makes one less reliant on the state and in its ultimate form, independent of the state and its socialist mandate.

To develop Africa, Africans must develop the mindset of an individualist.

Individualism requires honesty and this generates equality. We need to be honest about ourselves and in our dealings with others. Individualism can only exist in an environment devoid of risk. A sense of risk will produce socialist tendencies as people sacrifice individuality for security in various forms of association.

The ultimate expression of this is of course war. Africa, because of its high levels of perceived risk, is riven by internecine warfare.

It is not strong enough to wage war internationally so weak are its nations through the perpetuation of local struggles.

Much is made of the tribal loyalties that run through the borders of the individual nations, this is a problem only because of the issues mentioned above. When there is no trust, tribal loyalties exacerbate the problems.

Africa needs by three individualistic persons to begin a small group program that will remove socialism from Africa.

With the loss of socialism goes the nation state as it is conceived of, that is, the law-making apparatus of a parasitic government bureaucracy. As this is eroded and eliminated, all of the ancillary parasitic components will likewise dissipate.

Three of more individuals have individual identities and are able to adopt three distinct roles. This gives us the basis for specialization, and it is specialization that serves as the basis of all economic development.

The members or participants of the program create a small group which serves as a charity or charitable organization devoted to adding value to the world. Our mission is to end parasitism and promote individualism, so that no one is dependent on anyone nor responsible for another adult. This leaves us free to cultivate our individuality and maximize our contribution to the group. This process of individuating and contributing to the welfare of the charitable organization binds us together and accentuates our individuality, something that cannot happen as part of a socialist enterprise.

To create a charitable enterprise as suggested, the members an identity for the charity, such as “Our Charity” and have it issue a single common share to each member, this is a voting share and gives the members citizenship rights in the organization. More on this later.

The charity then capitalizes its assets, if any, by issue preferred shares equal to the value of the assets assigned to it by the members.

All commercial and surplus and things not needed specifically for personal use ought to be assigned to the charitable institution. The donation is capitalized by a debt for equity swa p in which the asset donated is matched by an issue of preferred shares.

Preferred shares are issued in a 1:1 ratio with the fiat currency so that each share is valued at one unit of the domestic currency, though American dollars could also be utilized as the base currency.

Preferred shares are treated as a unit of account. The accounts of the members are reconciled using prefer units, each prefer corresponding to one preferred share and one unit of the base currency.

As a unit of account and in-house exchange unit prefers are designated with the symbol ₽.

Members help one another out. The work they do is compensated with a deposit of prefers in their account. If they work for five hours, they receive five hours of pay from the charitable exchange.

The one purchasing the labor or product has their account debited the same amount. Thus, accounts are reconciled and zeroed.

There is always work to be done and the one doing the work is always paid by the Exchange. Everyone in the Exchange is eligible to purchase what help he or she needs and is hired to reconcile his or her account as needed.

Every member is paid at the same rate, and the price of goods and services are determined according to the Labor Theory of Value, there being no parasites to confuse the value of things.
