About Tuhat

Tuhat — Finnish for one thousand — is a platform for long-form writing. Posts must be at least 1,000 words to publish. No threads, no microblogging, no hot takes.

Each writer gets their own page. Your words live at tuhat.net/u/you. No algorithm decides who reads you — just a URL you can share.

Why 1,000 words?

The constraint is the point. Tuhat is for ideas that need room to breathe — arguments that require evidence, stories that need context, explanations that earn their conclusions. If it fits in a tweet, it belongs somewhere else.

Follow any writer to keep track of their work. Your /reading page collects posts from everyone you follow — a quiet feed of long-form writing, nothing else. No algorithm, no recommendations, no noise.

Simple by design

Blog pages load with plain HTML and CSS. No JavaScript, no tracking, no ads. Writing in Markdown, publishing in public.
