What Tuhat is

Tuhat is a long-form writing platform — posts must be at least 1,000 words to publish. Each writer is independently responsible for what they post. Tuhat provides the technology.

Accounts

You must provide a valid email address and choose a username to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. One person may not maintain more than one account.

Your writing

You retain ownership of everything you write on Tuhat. By publishing on Tuhat you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display, format, and distribute your posts solely as needed to operate the platform — feeds, your writer page, RSS, and reading lists for your followers.

If you delete a post or your account, we stop displaying that content.

Acceptable use

Posts must comply with applicable law. You agree not to publish content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or that promotes harm. We may suspend or remove accounts and posts that violate these terms.

Spam

Zero tolerance. Tuhat is for writing readers want to receive — not for unsolicited bulk mail, scraped contact lists, affiliate-link funnels, or any other form of spam. Accounts used to send spam through Tuhat (including via subscriber newsletters or the letters feature) will be removed without warning, and the content removed with them.

Affiliate links and SEO

Tuhat is a free service for writing, not for advertising or search-engine optimisation. Affiliate links, sponsored placements, and posts whose primary purpose is to drive traffic or signal to commercial destinations are not welcome here.

We keep a list of domains we've identified as affiliate, advertising, or SEO-spam destinations. Links to those domains will still appear in your posts as plain text, but they won't be rendered as clickable links. If a writer's posts are dominated by such links, the account may be removed.

If you think a domain is on the list by mistake — or should be added — email moderation@tuhat.net.

AI use

Tuhat is operated by 8by3, who use AI tools as described in the 8by3 AI policy. By using Tuhat you accept that policy.

Your data

Tuhat only stores information needed to operate your account and provide the service. We do not sell your data, and we don't run third-party tracking on blog pages.

Service availability

We aim to keep Tuhat available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Tuhat is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Tuhat after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
