It’s all males because it’s a whole system and it’s by design. The leading cause of death among women and girls- globally- is men. I don’t call them men though. I call them males. They act like fucking gorillas (sorry gorillas) with no moral compass and benefit from an inherently vile and violent system of perpetrator-victim conditioning.
The long and short of it is religion. Except it doesn’t enslave all of us equally.
Medicine, science, history and literally every discipline ever imagined followed suit because it was all originally co-opted by males. NOT invented. NOT thought of. CO-OPTED. It’s males in the shadows willing to syphon off of every other living life form for its own parasitic benefit.
Prove me fucking wrong. The above named disciplines and it includes ALL of them, are connected by the same underlying system: the devaluation of female life.

women are treated as possessions, dependents, reproductive resources, or symbols of male honor.
When women are viewed as property, violence becomes “discipline,” “punishment,” or “correction.”
Economic systems devalue girls
In many societies sons inherit wealth, land etc and daughters not only require dowries, but also leave the house and family to become her husband/handler’s property.
This creates lethal incentives against girls.
Male entitlement
Many femicides occur when men believe they are entitled to sex, obedience, emotional labor, control and exclusivity in relationship.
Militarization and war
War normalizes violence against women.
Religious extremism
Not religion universally, but extremist interpretations can enforce male perceived dominance.
Weak legal systems
Femicide rises where police dismiss women, courts fail to prosecute, domestic violence is minimized and corruption protects perpetrators.
Impunity fuels repetition.
Pornography/sexual commodification
Some feminist scholars argue that pornography normalizes sexual aggression and dehumanization, coercion and violence against women.
Researchers link misogynistic online cultures and real-world violence, but it’s also not fucking rocket science.
Organized crime
Cartels, trafficking networks, gangs, and militias often target women because women are easier to terrorize socially.

People resist acknowledging realities that are morally horrifying. If femicide is real, then society itself is implicated and that would make it a collective problem not a private one.
Denial becomes psychologically convenient.
How women fight back
Legal reform via femicide, domestic violence and marital rape laws, inheritance and anti-dowry legislation. Through economic independence women gain property rights (which they had- ahem, witch burnings), education, wages, and access to credit. When this happens we see rates of child marriage and gender violence decline. We also see whole ass communities benefit because women are not greedy fucking shit larvae. Women’s movements force governments (the biggest benefactor of all war, genocide and femicide) to acknowledge femicide. Which whoopty fucking whoo- they still don’t give a rat’s right testicle because there is no real loss for them and until they feel it square in the tax bracket nutsack they won’t do shit about it.
We need stricter collective focus on self and community defense. The research says “feminist movements”, but I don’t think it has to be about feminism. I think it has to be about survival and reclaiming the space to thrive amid rabid perpetrators. We need to train in whatever ways we feel most called. I prefer sniper training myself, but to each their own. We need better digital security, women-only hospitals, escape planning from those abusive DV maggot motherfuckers, safe houses that are guarded by Ak-47’s and female community protection systems. We need bigger consequences for pedophiles. Trump was building a wall, let’s string em up on it so everyone can see the little weewees they tried to use as weapons agains the innocent.
Naming victims matters politically they say. Handing victims a machete might do better justice. Femicide thrives on silence and statistical invisibility, abusers count on your shame and isolation, exhaustion and economic instability. Femicide is not an isolated series of crimes. It is a continuum of practices that communicate the same message: female lives are worth- less.
