I’m an American in Germany, which means I watch my country of origin the way you watch a relative making a terrible decision from across the room — close enough to love it, far enough to see clearly. Neurodivergent, homeschooling dad. I write about power, perception, and the quiet violence of being unseen — in politics, in institutions, in the structures we inherit without being asked and rarely think to question. The project has a name: Dignity-Centered Behavioral Design. It’s asking what it would mean to build systems around human dignity rather than extract from it. Still looking for the home I thought I left.
